Torres is now hiring Kurdish and Turkish linguists
to help in rebuilding Iraq and to support the U.S. government
and U.S. military in locations worldwide. Linguists will
provide language support during interviews, meetings, and
conferences. They will also interpret, translate and review
written documents and analyze spoken communications.
Background and Experience:
Minimum Background:
Excellent Kurdish or Turkish speaking and writing skills,
as well as superb English verbal and written skills. We will test
you as part of our hiring process.
 Must
hold a current U.S. Passport or be able to attain one
Must be
willing to travel and work in Iraq and other locations
Willingness
to work extended hours in harsh environments
Must have
clean criminal and financial background
Desired Background:
An active
SECRET or TOP SECRET security clearance
Knowledge
of cultural, economic and geopolitical issues in the Middle
East
Experience
as Kurdish or Turkish linguist
Ability
to operate Microsoft-based Systems Applications
